Miles of hiking trails in our region give us the opportunity to see beyond the view from the road. The Wildcat Hollow Hiking Trail, Burr Oak State Park trails, and the Ora E. Anderson Nature Trail are examples of beautiful walks in our region.
Three long distance trails also traverse our region, The Buckeye Trail, American Discovery Trail and The North Country Scenic Trail pass through this area, often on the Wayne National Forest Lands.
The Buckeye and North Country Trail volunteers build and maintain these trails in our area. This spring they will be forming a local chapter to help with these trails.
